Hooray! Totally by accident today, I found someone I've been trying track down for months -- Peter Foster, the subject of my very first post to this weblog. Peter restores bumper cars and sets them up so you can drive them around without a bumper car rink. I lost track of him when he closed up his filling station in Petaluma, California a while back. It seems he now has officially taken over the name of the Lusse Auto-Scooter company, and now sells spare parts. Yay!
By the way, when I went to visit Peter a few years ago, I got one of his bumper car cloisonne pins, which I wear on the lapel of my leather jacket (along with a Haunted Mansion pin).

Wednesday, May 11
I got Boing Boing'ed.
By the way, if you're here because of BoingBoing, please browse the archives. I haven't been updating like I used to when I was unemployed, but there is a huge load of stuff in the basement of this blog. And remember our motto here at Danny's Land, "If a link is broken, there's always The WayBack Machine."
